OUR GOVERNANCE

Our community interest company (CIC), festival and related activities are guided by a Board, an Executive Team (including a Programming Committee) and a Residents & Businesses Group. More information about each team is provided below.

Our Board

Our voluntary Board is led by Orphy Robinson MBE. Membership is set for 2-years and is reappoint-able. It meets quarterly and is responsible for strategic direction, efficacy and scrutiny of our policies. We require at least 6 (out of a maximum of 10) members to live or work in Watford.

* Safeguarding & Education Oversight:
Our Safeguarding & Education Oversight Group comprises trustees and education leads to ensure robust safeguarding practices across all work with schools and young people - indicated above by SG. Chris Newstead is our Designated Safeguarding Lead. Michelle Lake is our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Our Executive Team & Programming Committee

Day to day running of the organisation is led by Chris Newstead, alongside Orphy Robinson and Ruth Fisher. Our Programming Committee is led by Ruth Fisher, alongside Orphy and Chris, with further occasional support from Chris Philips.
