ADVERTISE WITH US

The Watford Jazz Junction is a multi-venue live music festival running across Watford 18-21 May 2023.

More than 2500 people attended the inaugural jazz festival in 2022, with more than 1000 of those attending our free to attend final day: Jazz Steps Around Oxhey Village. 90% of attendees held a Watford-postcode or lived in the immediate surrounding area.

Our anticipated 2023 audience numbers across all shows exceeds 3000 expected to include our MP, Mayor and other civic and local leaders.

We will print 1250 programmes, to be given out to attendees for free, including all 600 people at our Gala Opening Night Concert on 18 May at the Watford Palace Theatre, as well as throughout shows over our 4-day run.

We have full page, half page and quarter page programme advertising opportunities to suit all budgets from £150 to £500. Prices are inclusive.

ABOUT OUR 2023 FESTIVAL

We will be presenting more than 20 acts across 4 days at the Watford Palace Theatre, The Pump House Theatre and Arts Centre, 5 family-friendly pubs in our free-to-attend event "Jazz Steps Around Oxhey Village" and on Watford Heath as part of our final day.

This year’s festival focusses on the influence of the Caribbean on UK jazz although this theme doesn’t inform all performing acts.

Our confirmed jazz and soul stars include: chart-hitting Omar, and the UK’s foremost Black British female jazz vocalist Zara McFarlane (both shown on the left), plus Cleveland Watkiss, Orphy Robinson and Leon Foster Thomas (perhaps the world’s greatest steel-pan jazz player who closed the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebration on the Mall in 2022).

We also feature younger rising stars including BBC Jazz Musician of the Year 2018 Xhosa Cole and Parliamentary Jazz Awards 2022 winner Emma Rawicz.

ADVERTISING IN OUR OFFICIAL PROGRAMME

To help us cover the costs of the festival, noting we run as a not-for-profit community interest company, we will be producing an official printed programme, with a 1250 run.

Our programme will be professionally designed in-line with our established brand and will be professionally edited.

The programme will be printed at A5 size in full colour with a gloss print finish, with content including a foreword, introduction to the festival, information about the relationship between the Caribbean and jazz in the UK, as well as artist biographies and show profiles.

The overall festival is kindly supported & funded by The Arts Council England and the Watford Cultural Support & Development Fund. We have a principal sponsor and present all our shows in media partnership with Jazz FM.

You can view our 2022 Official Programme here.
